History

Jurex Center for Legal Nurse Consulting (Jurex) was founded by Elizabeth G. Rudolph, JD, MSN, RN. Ms. Rudolph realized that the options for nurses looking to become Legal Nurse Consultants were limited and costly, in both time and money. She took it upon herself to develop a program that was thorough, affordable and that nurses could complete at their own pace.

She began by offering Live Courses and online courses to become a Professional Legal Nurse Consultant. Soon, it became evident that the demand for alternative learning methods was high. She responded by adding new ways to earn PLNC certification, such as the PLNC Audio Course and the PLNC Video Course. Then, in order to further help Professional Legal Nurse Consultants succeed, she started the Post Certification Internship and began offering one-on-one mentoring.

Today, Jurex is growing rapidly as the need for legal nurse consultants increases. Our PLNC Directory is in great demand by attorneys and prospective employers to locate Professional Legal Nurse Consultants. Our catalog of continuing education courses is being expanded to continue to address the ever-changing medical malpractice landscape.

About the Founder

Ms. Rudolph is an attorney and nurse with 20 years experience practicing health care law in Memphis, Tennessee. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing and Masters in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. She also received her law degree from Vanderbilt University.

Ms. Rudolph is a national speaker on legal issues in nursing and legal nurse consulting. She has spoken at over a thousand conferences, seminars and workshops and at such premier institutions as:
