    Any nurse is eligible to become Professional Legal Nurse Consultant. The field of Professional Legal Nurse Consulting is open to all nurses who would like to receive training, education and certification.

  3. What are the benefits of getting a PLNC certification?

    With a PLNC certification, you demonstrate to a potential client or employer that you have the basic legal knowledge necessary to apply your nursing knowledge to a case. By offering certification as a Professional Legal Nurse Consultant, a variety of support services and continuing education, Jurex helps to keep their PLNCs on the cutting edge of the legal nurse consulting field. 
     
  5. What is the cancellation policy for the PLNC Live Courses?

    All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Cancellations received four weeks prior to the first day of the PLNC Live Course receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations received after four weeks and up to seven days prior to the first day of the the PLNC Live Course are transferable to the PLNC E-Course. Cancellations received seven days or less prior to the the first day of the PLNC Live course or "no shows" are nonrefundable. Registration fees are transferable, upon request, to an upcoming PLNC Live Course within the same calendar year or to another participant. Jurex reserves the right to cancel any PLNC Live Course and will convert PLNC Live Course registrations to the PLNC Video Course.
     
  6. How did Jurex get started?

    Jurex was the brainchild of Elizabeth G. Rudolph, a registered nurse and attorney practicing in Memphis, Tennessee. She realized that the options for nurses looking to become Legal Nurse Consultants were limited and costly, in both time and money. She took it upon herself to develop a program that was thorough, affordable and that nurses could do at their own pace.

  7. What is the Certification Test?

    The PLNC Certification test is a proficiency test. The test consists of several scenarios presented and you would answer the questions as you deem appropriate. This is a test of the knowledge you just acquired and designed to show mastery of the subject matter. The PLNC Certification test is given several ways depending upon your preference: sent to you via email, sent to you by mail or live at the conclusion of the PLNC Live Course.

  8. How quickly are the PLNC Certification Test results provided?

    Within two weeks via email. If results are to be mailed, please allow 2 – 3 days.
